Putting Your Best Foot Forward,
New Laser for Toenail Fungus

We are currently testing out a new Yag laser for fungus
of the fingernails and toenails. Originally FDA approved
for dentistry, the laser uses heat to kill nail fungus.
The laser is in the process of final FDA approval for
nail treatment but has been shown to be safe and
in several small studies- more than 80% effective
(as compared with 50-60% cure rate for oral Lamisil)
